Lactobionic acid promotes skin renewal and improves dermal density, helping to smooth the appearance of wrinkles. It also supports the healthy function of blood vessels in the under-eye area, enhancing the appearance of puffiness and dark circles.
The reparative complex, rich in amino acids and ATP, helps protect the skin from environmental stressors, including firmness loss associated with sun exposure. Ultim-eyes cream is a water-in-oil emulsion with a creamy texture and nourishing feel. This type of emulsion creates a protective film on the skin’s surface that helps prevent transepidermal water loss, keeping the skin hydrated and moisturized.
The aqueous phase of the cream is isotonic and balanced in minerals to optimize water transfer to the skin. For long-lasting hydration, the water phase is enhanced with plant-based glycerin, which mimics the skin’s Natural Moisturizing Factor (NMF). Glycerin is a skin-friendly ingredient suitable for all skin types, including sensitive areas. Its main function is to hydrate the skin and help retain moisture. Water-in-oil emulsions are especially recommended for delicate areas like the eye contour, as they provide superior and long-lasting hydration and protection.
The cream contains two main emollients. The first is a blend of long-chain fatty acid esters that melt at skin temperature, creating a soft, pleasant, and smooth skin feel. They also have a high re-fatting potential and strong water-repellent properties that form a film to protect the skin and prevent dryness. The second emollient is made from plant glycerol and medium-chain fatty acids derived from coconut oil. It is a natural, non-greasy emollient with good dermatological compatibility, moisturizing, and conditioning properties.
